Information collected via Google Sign-In

When you connect your Google account to Deals Nirvana, we may collect the following information provided by Google's OAuth service:

• Your full name and profile display name
• Your Google account email address
• Your Google profile photo / avatar
• A unique Google user identifier (Google ID)
• Your preferred language and locale settings

Information collected via Facebook Login

When you connect your Facebook account to Deals Nirvana, we may collect the following information provided by Meta's Facebook Login service, subject to the permissions you grant on the Facebook consent screen:

• Your full name and public profile display name
• Your Facebook account email address (only if you grant the email permission)
• Your Facebook profile picture / avatar
• A unique Facebook user identifier (App-Scoped User ID)

Deals Nirvana uses Google OAuth 2.0 to allow you to sign in securely without creating a separate password. When you click "Sign in with Google," you are redirected to Google's authentication servers.

The scopes (permissions) we request from Google are limited to:

• openid — Confirms your identity via Google
• profile — Your name and profile picture
• email — Your Google email address

Deals Nirvana uses Facebook Login (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to allow you to sign in securely without creating a separate password. When you click "Continue with Facebook," you are redirected to Facebook's authentication servers.

The login permissions we request from Facebook are limited to:

• public_profile — Your name and profile picture
• email — Your Facebook email address (optional; only if you grant it)

Facebook Platform Data and Usage

Deals Nirvana also uses Meta (Facebook) APIs to publish deal content to and read engagement metrics from our own official Deals Nirvana Facebook Page. The permissions pages_manage_posts and pages_read_engagement are used solely to operate the Deals Nirvana Page that we own and administer. These permissions are not used to access, post to, or manage any Facebook Page, profile, or content belonging to users who sign in to our platform. We do not harvest, sell, or share your personal Facebook profile data, and signing in with Facebook never grants Deals Nirvana access to your own Pages or posts.

The information obtained through Google OAuth and Facebook Login is used solely for the following purposes:

• Creating and managing your Deals Nirvana account
• Personalizing your experience on our platform
• Displaying your profile name and photo within the community
• Sending account-related notifications and updates
• Authenticating your identity on future sign-ins
• Ensuring the security and integrity of your account

Deals Nirvana does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: Trusted partners who assist in operating our platform (hosting, analytics), bound by confidentiality agreements
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred with prior notice to you
• With Your Consent: Any other sharing will only occur with your explicit permission

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide our services. If you choose to delete your Deals Nirvana account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

In accordance with Meta's platform rules and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to request deletion of all personal data associated with your account — whether you registered via Google or Facebook — at any time.

Facebook User Data Deletion Instructions

If you signed in with Facebook and wish to delete the data connected to the Deals Nirvana app, you can do so in either of the following ways:

1. Go to your Facebook profile's "Settings & Privacy" → "Settings".
2. Navigate to "Apps and Websites" to see all apps linked to your account.
3. Locate Deals Nirvana and click the "Remove" button.
4. Alternatively, submit a formal data deletion request to us directly at [email protected].

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account (see Section 7)
• Revoke Google Access: Disconnect Google from your account at any time via Google Account settings
• Revoke Facebook Access: Disconnect Facebook from your account at any time via Facebook's Apps and Websites settings
• Portability: Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format
• Opt-Out: Opt out of non-essential communications at any time

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure token storage, and regular security audits. While no system is 100% secure, we continuously work to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Deals Nirvana is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our platform. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last updated. Continued use of Deals Nirvana after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
